Best Gifts for Creative People & Art Lovers! π¨
For anyone who is like me and has WAY too many art-related interests, it can be hard to really FOCUS on just one creative outlet to master or enjoy, but these gift ideas certainly make it easier, so check them out! The best one is the first one on this list and I am clearly stoked about it! π
1. Adobe Creative Cloud
This is at the top of the list because it is literally a creative “cloud” from the heavens, full of endless capabilities to digitally create anything you can imagine. “Adobe Creative Cloud” gives you access to a collection of Adobe software applications for designing graphics, editing videos, photography, web development and much more! Here is just some of the software that is included:
- Photoshop – well-known tool for creating/editing beautiful photos, graphics and art.
- InDesign – for creating & publishing books, digital magazines, posters & more.
- Adobe Express – allows users to create digital content from thousands of easy-to-use templates.
- Character Animator – use to bring your characters to life by adding expressions and movements.
- Dreamweaver – for both designing & developing modern websites.
- Fresco – With the use of over 1,000 brushes, you can draw & paint anything.
- Premiere Pro – For editing and crafting your videos & films.
- Adobe Illustrator – draw & design amazing designs, icons and logos, to include high quality vectors for any sized project. Perfect for designers who like to create graphics for things they plan to sell, which require high quality image sizes that don’t pixelate and more importantly original designs.

Adobe Illustrator: The Best App from the Cloud Bundle! π
My favorite app that this bundle is “Adobe Illustrator” and the fact that I’ve lived most of my life without it actually crushes my quirky, little crayon-colored soul! Trust me, whoever it is that you’re gift shopping for NEEDS this if they don’t already have it.
I’m a brand new subscriber to Illustrator but with my own self-teaching and a YouTube tutorial or two, I was able to learn the basics within a few hours. Here is just one of the things I drew in the program before adding some animation stickers with my favorite online design tool, Canva!
As you can tell, my edges and strokes could use some work but if you can create something like this as a newbie beginner, just imagine what you will be able to draw with time and practice!
2. Modern Cartooning – Essential Techniques for Drawing Book
There are loads of “How-to-Draw” books out there that anyone who loves to draw will appreciate – especially those of us who find it harder to freehand things like eyes or hands! This easy-to-read (and learn!) book is my top choice because it focuses on teaching you how to create characters that mimic the ones we love in today’s popular animated films. Not only that, but it is easy to follow along with and is actually entertaining to read.

These professional colored pencils aren’t the kind you may be used to due to their amazing high-pigmented hues and easy to blend capabilities that produce an impressive, professional look. If you aren’t familiar with how they can flaunt their looks on paper, just check out this example I pulled from a customer review:
WOWZERS, right? That artist is just one of the many folks out there that have vouched for these babies via the reviews on the product link!

8. One Poem a Day: A Writer’s Daily Journal of Words & Inspiration
For the ones in your life that have a way with words (or want to), this journal is such a great gift idea for them! After looking through a few of the prompts, I can also see how this book could be extremely therapeutic, which is what has me personally drawn to it. Here are a couple of prompt examples it offers (and my responses) ποΈ
“Write a poem about something that makes you uncomfortable. Leave no emotional stone unturned”
Loneliness hurts, it’s a cruel, indescribable pain
Buried alive as my unheard screams drive me insane
Lost, drifting through life in an invisible state
This is my everyday hell & sadly my fate
“Consider your best quality and choose an animal to symbolize it. Write a poem celebrating this animal within you”
Pain & suffering haunt her each and every night
yet tomorrow still comes and she’s kissed by sunlight
As her tears are still drying, she soars up into the sky
clinging to hope that her dreams won’t pass her by
and that peace will surround her in a new life.
