Are you looking for easy online side jobs? If so, you’re a lucky duck today because I have the best options for you that are also 100 percent legit.
I hate it when I sign up for an online money making opportunity, only to fill out all the forms, just to be greeted with a lovely confirmation message saying that there is a membership fee. Um, no way, Jose!
I have tried doing a variety of online jobs for extra money and have had pleasant experiences with many of them. You will too, and if not, you can leave me some terrible feedback in the comments at the bottom of this post. Just trust me and check out the following easy online side jobs you can do online for some quick, extra change in your pocket.
1. Amazon Mechanical Turk
Amazon Turk is a website where members can snag any virtual job that they qualify for in the database. The mini-jobs range from labeling images, transcription work, data entry, finding numbers for businesses, and more. Individuals and businesses offer hundreds of jobs for you to do, which means you won’t run out of work, limiting your earnings.
Sound too good to be true? Well, it is for extra money, and shouldn’t be used as a substitute for a full-time job. Why? Well, you are paid by the task, not by the hour or salary. So, for example, if you label a photo, you get anywhere from 1-15 cents on average. The small earrings do add up fast, and you can cash out via bank account or via an Amazon gift card.
Each task is called a “HIT” on Amazon Turk and the more jobs you do, the more qualifications you are granted. You are usually paid super quickly and as you can see below, the rejection rate isn’t high at all.

TIP: You only work on tasks that you accept and want to work on, so you shouldn’t have any issues. However, try not to accept tasks (HITS) without being sure you know how to work it. You don’t want too many records of returning jobs on your profile. 🙂

2. Rate Music
Yes, It is as simple as that! It doesn’t make you much money but it is a great way to make money doing something that you enjoy, right? You listen to a song clip and then are asked to write a short critique on it. You won’t find an online side job that is easier than this! 😎
TIP: When writing your review for every song, be sure to use descriptive words, and don’t just write one sentence. They need to be able to tell that you actually did listen to the song clip!

3. Sell your Photos
My favorite app to sell photos on is Foap! You get $5.00 for every sale and you easily upload the photos via the app on your phone. Even if you don’t think you take great photos, it is worth a shot because you never know what people will buy. I have made about 60 dollars on Foap but I am not as active on it as I used to be, so you could make more!
It takes little effort on your part. You literally take photos on your phone of anything you want and upload it to the app. You add a title, description and tags so that people can find the photo and hopefully purchase it for use.
Tips: Do not expect to upload a couple of photos and get sales. I highly recommend following other photographers, liking or commenting on their photos, and upload pictures regularly.

4. Create Designs on Zazzle
You have probably heard of Zazzle, but if not, it is a great online store that allows users to submit designs onto hundreds of different kinds of products. If a product with your design sells, you get the royalties. If you want higher commission rates, you sell your design for a higher price. You get a lot of control, and you don’t need to do any labor or shipping.
Simply just create designs! It is a great way to earn extra money if you are consistent and don’t give up after only uploading a couple of designs.
TIP: Don’t expect quick success. Upload lots of designs consistently, promote them on social media and upload new, quality designs regularly.

5. Online Chat Jobs
Okay, so you won’t be chatting online with hot babes/hunks, but there are tons of legit online side jobs where you can help people via chat. The great thing about this is that you get to avoid talking on the phone with customers. If you get anxiety being on the phone, like me, but still like to communicate and help people, then this would be a good choice.
Some of the companies you can apply for online chat jobs include Fiver, Best Buy and Apple – just to name a few.

6. Make a Blog
I LOVE HAVING A BLOG! Creating a blog about things that you are passionate about is a great way to make money if you stick with it, are consistent and invest a lot of time into it.
Do you love to travel? Blog about your experiences, share your photos, give traveling tips and eventually make income from ads, affiliate sales, partnerships and more. It isn’t easy money, or fast money, but if you are looking for great long term results, I would at least consider it.
Even if you aren’t technologically savvy, there are so many apps, plugins, and downloadable aides that make starting a blog super easy. This option requires patience and passion for sure!
TIP: Learn SEO, Use WordPress, and pick a profitable niche that inspires you. You will need the inspiration to stay motivated and consistent!
