Looking to know how to make slime? It is pleasantly simple and tons of fun for all ages – especially when you add special effects, decoration and eye-catching colors! The great thing about making your own, is that you have endless possibilities in terms of creativity, but don’t need to have skills that require strategic placement.
Making slime is a blast, but sometimes you just want a DIY kit that just allows you to mix everything together with the supplies already in the box! So. I will also feature some of the best slime kits and add-ins that you can buy online. π
How to Make Slime – Easy! β
There are different ways you can make slime, including ingredients you may already have in your kitchen or even your bathroom. I am all about the easy peasy though, so here are the best & EASIEST ways for those of you who are like me and want to get to the fun, mixing part as soon as possible!
This slime takes only a few simple ingredients/supplies:
- School Glue (You will need 1 cup of glue, so get 2 4oz bottles)
- Food Coloring (Neon Set on Amazon: The brighter, the better!)
- Slime Activator – Elmer’s Magical Liquid or the scented kind!
- Mixing Bowl – Or a mixing kit
- Optional: Fun Add-Ins (See ideas later in the post)
Easy Mixing Directions
- In a mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of glue. (Remember, that it 8oz of glue)
- Add in 8 (or more) drops of food coloring.
- Add your mix-ins into the bowl (If not using mix-ins, skip this step).
- Slowly add the activator as you are stirring everything together, until you get your desired consistency.
Was that easy, or was that EASY?!
