Halo Top. It sound’s like a 90’s boy band fashion accessory or the name of a trendy wrinkle on your forehead that has recently gone into style. Well, what it actually is will amaze you once you try it and will change your life forever. Are you sure you are ready?

This is for those of you who like to scream for ice cream but don’t want to scream after you scarf the entire pint down and realize that you just inhaled 800 calories, 88 grams of sugar and 52 grams of fat. This is for those of you who like to eat good and healthy. This is for those of you who prefer to eat your sorrows in front of the television with yummy ice cream instead of stale rice cakes that don’t make you feel better about that horrid break-up with Cory. (I know, this is serious because y’all totally broke up through a text message, ugh). Keep your head up, cupcake. . Cry it out and indulge, but do it without the calories, fat and sugar. Grab a Halo Top…NOW. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So, before you get all hesitant on me, listen up: This is not Arctic Zero. If you are like me and love ice cream, then you have tried Arctic Zero. An ice cream brand that uses similar marketing towards the health conscious with pints of ice cream for 150 calories for the entire pint. Boy, when you first opened up an Arctic Zero, you were excited. You were thinking “Goodbye Deprivation!” – But you put that first spoonful in your mouth and immediately knew that your dreams were crushed because it tasted like frozen water with an after taste of soap and cocoa powder. Well, Halo Top actually taste like real ice cream. Sure they are a little more calories than a pint of Arctic Zero, but they taste like they could be a brand from Ben & Jerry’s. They. Are. That. Good.

Halo Tops range from 240 calories to 360 calories a pint, 16-28 grams of sugar, 8 grams of fat and a whopping 20-24 grams of protein! (This all depends on the flavor you get). Speaking of flavors! They include Lemon Cake, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chip, Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Mocha Chip, Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies & Cream, Sea Salt Caramel, S’mores, Pistachio, Oatmeal Cookie. Black Cherry and Chocolate Almond Crunch.

Check out the nutritional information here for each flavor: Halo Top Official Website

Not yet convinced? Check out the infographic below on a serving of Halo Top vs a serving of Ben & Jerry’s. A serving of each brand is half a cup. (2 cups are in a pint) So for the Halo Top Vanilla Bean, you would be able to have the whole pint for only 240 calories. A Ben & Jerry’s pint, however, would cost you 1,000 calories!

So, Right now, I am challenging you to officially make the switch. Want to go pick up a pint? Go ahead and use this super-duper convenient tool to see where you can pick some up near you:

Okay, so I got a little excited about sharing this treasure of a find, but there is literally no way that you will be disappointed. Thanks, Halo Top – for giving us all a way to pout on the couch the old fashioned way.
